Elvis Colon-Ramirez, of Allentown, crossed his motorcycle over to the oncoming path of a car on Mount Laurel Street in Alsace Township and hit a Volkswagen Jetta near Delp Road shortly after 6:05 p.m., LehighValleyLive reports citing state police.
Colon-Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene, though he had been wearing a helmet, the report said.
The Jetta driver — Kenneth Dietrich, 60, of Muhlenberg Township — as well as a rear passenger were uninjured in the crash. A second passenger injured a knee but did not ask for additional treatment, authorities said.
